Macalester owns a credit card systems to accept card-present payments at your Macalester sponsored event.  This system can be borrowed for events.  The card-present credit card system has been used at a wide variety of campus activities including Athletics, Reunion and Student-run events.

Why use the Loaner Credit Card System?

• Convenient— Giving you and your customers a simple way to purchase.
• Liability— Minimize the amount of cash and checks at your event, by taking credit cards.
• Secure and Compliant— The Credit Card System is Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant!

How do I get started?

1. Are you planning on using the credit card system for a Macalester fundraising event and you are a Student Group, please contact Center for Student Leadership and Engagement.
2. How do I reserve the credit card system?
   • Review the Credit Card System Loaner Timeline plan when to make the request, and the follow-up needed.
   • Check the Credit Card System Loaner Calendar for availability.  The system is available on a first-come basis.
   • Complete the Credit Card System Loaner Request
