Career Exploration at Macalester
Jen Guyer-Wood serves as Career Exploration's Executive Director. Wherever students are on their career path, Career Exploration has resources, tools, and programs to help. Hana Dinku is the Director for the Lealtad-Suzuki Center, named after Catharine Deaver Lealtad
Class of 1915, the first African American graduate of Macalester College and a talented doctor; and Esther Torii Suzuki (Class of 1946), a survivor of the Japanese internment camps during WWII and a six-year member of the Macalester College Alumni Board. The LSC offers programs and community building for students from marginalized identities, along with social justice education and coalition building for all Macalester students.Center for Disability Services at Macalester

Dr. Steph Walters is the medical director at Macalester's Hamre Center. Here students access services for physical, mental, and social well-being. There are dedicated staff to support students with their needs, including gender affirming care, counseling services, and overall health concerns. The Hamre Center can also connect students to resources in the Twin Cities, which is home to several major healthcare systems. large hospitals, and a robust network of specialty providers.Center for Religious and Spiritual Life (CRSL)
Reverend Kelly Stone is the Associate Dean for Institutional Equity and College Chaplain, serving the Macalester community alongside other chaplains of multiple faiths. The Chaplaincy is here to support you in your spiritual well-being, celebrating and sharing across many religious traditions. Whether you choose to worship in our Chapel, outdoors, or at a location in the Twin Cities, the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life can be a partner and guide.
