Why I chose Admissions and Financial Aid
My passion for admissions and college affordability comes from a love of the Liberal Arts education and a commitment to educational access. It is incredibly rewarding to help students navigate the college search and application process. I am proud to be a member of the Macalester community and the work done to ensure access and affordability for our students.

Community Involvement
Before joining the Macalester community, I served as an Admission Counselor at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, MN where I also served as an Inclusive Recruitment Coordinator. I serve in a variety of capacities in different spaces in higher education via an advisory board for a college access non-profit in Illinois, committees within the MN Association for College Admission Counseling, and on my alma mater’s Alumni Board of Directors.

Favorite time of the year at Mac
I love winter! The snow, activities, and warm drinks all make campus feel extra cozy and welcoming. Campus and Saint Paul are beautiful following a snow storm and everything is freshly plowed and swept away. Get a good pair of boots and you will enjoy our winters.

Love about the Twin Cities
The Twin Cities have diverse neighborhoods, nationally ranked bike infrastructure, green spaces you can lose yourself in, award winning food, so much theatre, and a whole lot of art that make the metro area a special place to live. I have a deep appreciation for the Twin Cities and have loved calling MN home.
