Patricia Anderson is a visiting instructor teaching Advanced Chinese. Her research interests include in particular feminist writings, primarily of the twentieth and twenty first centuries and issues of translation. Her doctoral work involves a comparative study of Chinese women writers of the modern and contemporary periods, with a focus on how the mother figure is portrayed.
