From 900-year-old musical scores to 1980s punk rock vinyl; to concrete records, CDs, and college radio playlists; come explore artifacts from throughout musical history at Macalester College’s Archives and Special Collections monthly Open House, 4:30-6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 25. We’ll turn up the volume with recordings from College ensembles, student groups, and famous alums; create the environment with posters and fliers from gigs here on campus; and showcase a rare collection of 1960s counterculture music imagery.
