A Very Special MacReads 2022
Every year in December, we celebrate with A Very Special MacReads. Macalester plays host, and we all get a little festive. This year we're finally able to return to campus in person after a pandemic pause on this beloved tradition.
Please join us on Thursday, December 15 at the Briggs House. Kate Baxter-Kauf had the brilliant idea to read Mac alumnus Charles Baxter's collection of essays set in Minneapolis, There's Something I Want You To Do.
Please RSVP on the website.
About the book...As we follow a diverse group of Minnesota citizens, each grappling with their own heightened fears, responsibilities, and obsessions, Baxter unveils the remarkable in what might otherwise be the seemingly inconsequential moments of everyday life.
