Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday For Christians, the ritual of being marked with ash is a reminder of finitude in a large ecosystem of God’s love. For many this is a meaningful start to the 40-day Season of Lent. Minnesota snow will not deter those who wish to observe this day! All day today, members of our community are invited to experience a self-led Ash Wednesday meditation in the lower level of the chapel. This will include ashes—that have been blessed—waiting for you. Additionally, you can join Chaplain Kelly Stone on Zoom at 12 p.m. for a simple Ash Wednesday Prayer and reflection. Pick up ashes in the lower level of the Chapel or you can use what is on hand as we mark the start of the Lent Season together. Want to receive regular Lent emails?
