PushBall: The Macalester Tradition
The first Macalester PushBall game was played in 1914 with a Sophomore Class victory over the First-Years
In honor of that game the annual PushBall games will be played for Founding Day on Friday, March 3rd, on the Old Main Lawn
A game of PushBall consists of two teams working against each other to score by pushing a giant inflated ball, 8 feet in diameter, to the designated in-zone. Whichever team has the scores the most in 15 minutes is declared the winner.
