Chanter Submissions Last Call
Tuesday, February 28th is the last day to submit prose, poetry, and visual art for the SEASON YEAR edition of Chanter magazine! Submit up to 5 pieces through our form: bit.ly/SubmitToChanter Chanter is Macalester’s oldest student publication, and has put out collections of student work each semester since starting in 1957. All submissions go through a blind review process: names and any identifying information are removed, open meetings are held to discuss and vote on the submissions, and those with the highest average scores in each semester are included in the final issue. Chanter aims to provide the opportunity to experience the process of submitting creative work to a magazine as an undergraduate student, as well as to acknowledge and honor your efforts with your fellow students and the greater Mac community.
