Event Details

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to gather on in the Leonard Center gym for Opening Convocation to officially start the academic year. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the program begins promptly at 11:30 a.m.  

Urban and Multicultural Education Professor Brian Lozenski will provide our keynote address. In addition we’ll hear from President Rivera, Provost Anderson-Levy, and Macalester College Student Government leadership. 

Faculty are encouraged to wear their academic regalia and sit together with their departments. 

The library, ITS help desk, and Leonard Center fitness facilities will be closed during this event.
