Macalester Religious Studies Department Lunch and Info Session

  1. Welcomes, Brief explanation of program

  2. Students get food and settle, while professors briefly introduce their own relationship (of whatever sort; academic, personal, e.g.) to “religious studies.”

  3. Introduce the Harvard Divinity School’s 4 Principles of Religious Studies.

  4. Split into four groups, each group to discuss one of the 4 principles.

  5. Students return to briefly reflect to each other and the group at large about their experience discussing the principles.
