MacExplore Twin Cities: Public Health
Start your fall break with a bang by joining Career Exploration for a day of exploring what a career in your field of interest could look like.
We are hosting two MacExplore Twin Cities trips, one focusing on careers in public health, and one focusing on careers in urban studies. Site visits will be hosted by Macalester alumni or friends of the college. This event is free of cost and will include lunch. Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Transportation provided. Application deadline in Oct 20.
*What is a MacExplore trip?* MacExplore trips seek to help you answer questions like: Where can your Macalester degree take you? What do people do all day, every day in their jobs? What do different work spaces and cultures feel like and what might be right for me? Where can I work and live out my values? MacExplores are designed to help you imagine broadly as you consider your post-Macalester future.
Date: Thursday, October 26 Time: We are still planning trip logistics. Please plan to be available from 9:00am-3:00pm.
We know this is a busy time of year for you, so before registering, please be sure you are available and committed to the entire time frame and date of this trip.
We appreciate Macalester students' concerns for both food and financial resources. Since this is a catered event, we ask that you let us know if your plans change.
If you cannot attend, please email [email protected] by 4 pm on October 23.
