AnthroTuesday is a gathering open to any Macalester student to connect/network with cool Mac alums, learn about life after Mac with an anthropology degree, and eat free pizza. Macalester alum Cady Patton ‘14 will be joining us to talk about her work at Fusion Hill and connect with all of you!

Cady is a Director of Research and Strategy at Fusion Hill, a research, strategy, and creative agency in NE Minneapolis. Her research team conducts qualitative market research for companies in financial services, health care, and technology who want to answer questions about their consumers. She conducts interviews and focus groups on a wide range of topics (recent topics include mapping out obstacles in the home-buying journey, having people come up with changes to make one of their credit cards more ideal, and talking to interventional cardiologists about how they decide between treatment options for pulmonary embolism). She can speak to what it’s like to work in a field that actively looks for anthropology majors, and the experience of translating those skills into work with more corporate clients.
