Food, Agriculture and Society Concentration Info Session
Our food systems are broken and we need you to help us create a better future! Macalester’s interdisciplinary concentration in Food, Agriculture & Society aims to cultivate a new generation of citizen-leaders and engaged scholars who can re-imagine global and local food systems, undertake groundbreaking research, and organize for change. The program offers a six-course concentration involving core and supporting courses as well as an internship. The Food, Agriculture & Society Program will hold an information session for prospective concentrators on Tuesday, Oct 31, from 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. in Carnegie 105. A light lunch will be served. At the session, we will share some basic background on the program, discuss our spring 2024 courses, and then four current concentrators will share their experiences with the program (courses, internships, study away, conferences, etc.). Please join us!
