MSCS and Philosophy Seminar - Racial Disparities in Human-AI Decisions in the Child Welfare System

"Racial Disparities in Human-AI Decisions in the Child Welfare System" will be the topic of the next Math, Statistics, and Computer Science (MSCS) Department Seminar. The seminar will be co-hosted with the Philosophy Department and given by alum of both departments Logan Stapleton ’18, a fifth-year PhD student in computer science in the GroupLens Lab at the University of Minnesota and a visiting student at Carnegie Mellon University. Everyone is welcome on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 12-1 p.m. in Olin-Rice 250.
