Grants and Grant Writing Workshop with Masami Kawazato

You will learn about the process of finding, reading and understanding grants, including the details you need to consider beyond the narrative of the application. You will examine a sample grant application, and then will be given 6 weeks (a very typical application period) to submit an application as practice. You will begin to learn the skills and vocabulary for understanding grant applications and writing grants. You will leave the first session with a sample grant to work on, and we will discuss a selection of the submissions of participants in order to improve our understanding and writing of grants in the second. Second session will be Sunday April 14, 1pm - 4pm
