Concerto Concert

Two students will perform solo pieces with the Macalester Orchestra as winners of the annual Concerto Competition on Friday March 1, presented by the Music Department. Sarah Dunn '26, violin, will perform the first movement of Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole and Dennis Krolevich '26, piano, will perform the first movement of Prokofiev's 3rd Piano Concerto. The Orchestra will also perform the Suite "Wood Notes" by William Grant Still. The concert will be conducted by Mark Mandarano. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. in Mairs Concert Hall, Janet Wallace Performing Arts Center.
