Macalester is hosting twenty-four of the top mock trial teams in the country this weekend on campus! Two representatives from the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) will join us to tabulate the tournament, centrally located in the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center. Qualifying through a regionals process, each team has been rigorously preparing including our own team comprised of the following students: Amelia Paine '24, Amarah Friedman '24, Maita Mungah '26, Nicole Emmerson '26, David Truman '26, Ainsley Meyer '26 and Tess Deane '27. 

The top six teams will advance the National Championship Tournament. If you see students in suits walking around campus, please welcome these collegiate mock trial competitors to campus!
