Russian Studies Conference on April 27

The Russian Studies Department at Macalester College is hosting an Undergraduate Research Conference titled "Art and the State in Eastern Europe and Eurasia." Students from various U.S. colleges and universities will come together to present their research. Among the topics are Kyrgyz rap, Ukrainian samvydav, Uzbek patriotic music, Qantar protests in Kazakhstan, Tatar theater, and others. The conference is open to the public. Lunch will be provided.
