Are you interested in studying away in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026? We know it feels far away - but all students who wish to study away in the 25-26 academic year are required to attend a First Steps Info Session this fall. Since most Macalester students study away in their junior year, these sessions are primarily for sophomore students.

Please join us in the John B. Davis Lecture Hall on the lower level of the Campus Center at one of the following times (each session has the same information, you only need to attend one): 

• Tuesday, September 17 - 12:00 pm-1:00 pm
• Tuesday, September 17 - 4:45 pm-5:45 pm
• Wednesday, September 18 - 12:00 pm-1:00pm
• Wednesday, September 18 - 6:30 pm-7:30 pm

In this session, you will: 

• Meet Center for Study Away staff
• Learn about the advising and application process for study away
• Ask questions
• Get started in our online application system

A limited number of make-up sessions will be offered later this fall. The deadline to apply to study away for Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 is Thursday, December 5, 2024.
