Peace Day @ Mac 20204

We’re thrilled to invite faculty, staff, and students to Peace Day @ Mac 2024 on September 21! This is going to be a great event filled with food, music, and powerful dialogue on the theme "Crafting Peace." The International Day of Peace ("Peace Day"), observed globally on the 21st of September, serves as a reminder to rise above our differences and build a Culture of Peace.

Here are some (out of many) reasons why you won’t want to miss it:

  • Opening Speaker: Tonderai Chikuhwa - Chief of Staff in the Office of the United Nations Under-Secretary-General & Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict
  • A performance from the Asian Music Ensemble.
  • Student performances that will captivate and motivate!
  • A creative activity to get you involved in thinking about peace, while fostering community and dialogue.
  • Free food and refreshments for all attendees!

We truly believe this will be a fantastic opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, build community, and leave feeling inspired.
