Turning Towards Each Other - Elections

Whether you are feeling anxious, unsure, overwhelmed, positive, neutral, confused, confident, or otherwise - we invite all students interested in holding space and engaging with peers, specifically around the topic of elections to our Turning Towards Each Other sessions this fall.

The first session is on Thursday, September 26 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the lower level of Markim Hall. The second session is on Tuesday October 22 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Davis Court.

This is a chance to connect with other students on current feelings, to share space, to gain new perspectives, share similar perspectives, bring questions, leave with more questions, and more; however, each student must be willing to engage with their peers in line with the listed community agreements. After reviewing and verbally consenting to the community agreements for the space, students will be paired in groups of two to three. KAIGC staff members will be present as passive facilitators, tasked with enforcing ground rules but not participating in individual conversations. Conversations can last as short as ten minutes (with five minutes allotted for each participant), stretch the entirety of the session, or fall somewhere in between.

Light lunch items/snacks and refreshments will be provided.
