MacExplore Trips

What is a MacExplore trip?

This Fall Break, Macalester Career Exploration will take students on two separate trips into the cities to explore the private sector and communications and media. MacExplore trips seek to help you answer questions like: Where can your Macalester degree take you? What do people do all day, every day, in their jobs? What do different workspaces and cultures feel like, and what might be right for me? Where can I work and live out my values? MacExplores are designed to help you broadly imagine your post-Macalester future. Each trip will visit two sites in the Twin Cities, all hosted by Macalester alumni or friends of the college.

We know you are busy at this time of year, so before registering, please be sure you are available and committed to the entire timeframe and date of this trip. Note: You can only sign up for one of the trips, as they happen simultaneously.

Open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Lunch and transportation are provided.
