Study Away Identity Series: BIPOC

Are you a student planning to study away in Spring 2025, or considering study away next year (Fall 2025 or Spring 2026)? Come to our Study Away Identity Series to listen to your returnee peers share experiences around their own identities from their semesters away. 

This Series will be held from November 18-21 to celebrate International Education Week! All events will take place from 5-6pm in the Center for Study Away (Markim Hall 2nd floor).

  • Mon, November 18 - First Gen/Low-Income Experiences on Study Away - moderated by Ruth Janisch, Community Engagement Center

  • Tues, November 19 - Queer/Trans Experiences on Study Away - moderated by Sam Taitel, Lealtad-Suzuki Center for Social Justice & Jen Moore, Hamre Center

  • Wed, November 20 - BIPOC Experiences on Study Away - moderated by Theo (Jingming) Wang, Hamre Center 

  • Thurs, November 21 - Women/Femme Experiences on Study Away - moderated by Emma Kippley-Ogman, Center for Religious and Spiritual Life
