The Macalester Summer Internship Grant (MSIG) is a program that provides funding for unpaid internships so that Macalester students may access invaluable career-enhancing summer experiences. In addition to receiving a stipend, students also benefit from comprehensive programming during the spring semester and throughout the summer term, including coaching to secure an internship position (if needed), training for internship readiness, and career-focused assignments and skill building. These components are designed to build career readiness and enhance the internship experience. 

20+ students will be selected for the MSIG 2025 cohort in the first and only round 0f applications that will open on January 23rd, 2025 and are due on Monday, February 24th at 5:00 pm CST. Due to the extended amount of time that the application is open, and in the effort to achieve equity for all candidates, late submissions will not be considered.
