The Light we Give: Welcome the spring semester’s first twilight in community with Dr. Simran Jeet Singh
Welcome the Spring Semester with Simram Jeet Singh, Assistant Professor in Interreligious Histories at Union Theological Seminary and author of "The Light We Give: How Sikh Wisdom Can Transform Your Life." Life is hard enough as it is. And now, it feels like the world's on fire. The temptation to give up can be so strong. So where do we turn in times of difficulty, when hope is hard to come by, when we have no easy answers? In this session with Simran Jeet Singh, reflect on where we find and bring forward light, and how we might meet the moment in a way that feels meaningful and nourishing.
We will gather in the round (in the chapel) so we can experience the warmth of returning to community and practice building sustaining connections with each other. Light refreshments will be provided and a special gift will be shared with all attendees.
