Gilman Scholarship Writing Workshop

Are you a Pell Grant-eligible student approved to study away in fall 2025 or spring 2026? Are you thinking of applying for the Gilman Scholarship and could use some advice for writing your essays? Join Study Away on Thursday, February 20 from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. in Davis Court in Markim Hall to learn how to present your best self to application evaluators. Study Away staff who have previously served on Gilman panels and study away returnees will present insider tips and tricks for drafting your essays. You are encouraged to bring writing/typing aids, but no prep work is required. Pizza will be provided!
