Ash Wednesday

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday as a day to remember humans are called from the earth as finite beings. Fasts, worship, and imposition of ashes are all part of Ash Wednesday observances; these practices vary across Christian traditions. An Ash Wednesday service will be held on March 5th at 5pm in Weyerhaeuser Chapel. This ritual will be led by Chaplain Sorrel Hester and Rev. Kelly Stone.
