The Case of the Disappearing Data
Zoom presentation and conversation with Mac librarians
March 24, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. -1:00 p.m.
The Trump administration is removing data and information from governmental websites and gutting several federal agencies–triggering ongoing and rapid changes to the information landscape, especially in environment, health, and education research. How has this impacted you and your students?
You are invited to this presentation and conversation with Research and Instruction Librarians Brigid McCreery (Mathematics and Natural Sciences) and Shannon Merillat (Social Sciences) to learn about how some of this data is being saved and about alternative data sources. Join in the conversation to share how the loss of data is impacting you, your research, and your students’ research.
