Join us for the annual Undergraduate Research Conference: “Encounters and Entanglements in Eurasia and Beyond.” Undergraduate students from Macalester and other institutions rose to the challenge with bold, thought-provoking papers. Topics include: Theatrics of resistance in Central Asia, Minority communities in China, Food and survival in the GULAG, and Gender in anime, literature, memes, and film. from Yale University, who will present a zoom lecture titled:
“Finding the Universal: Modernism and Cultural Encounters” at 11:30
