Event Details

Sign up to go with a group of Macalester students to Second Harvest Heartland to pack food that will later be delivered to local food shelves. The time includes transportation in a bus to and from campus.

Second Harvest is one of the nation's largest and most efficient food banks. Their mission is to end hunger through their community partnerships. The meals packed at Second Harvest get delivered to food shelves, pantries, and other partner programs that serve counties in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Last year, over 74 million meals were delivered to partner programs.
