Disappearing Muslims: Mass Detention in Northwest China

Join fellow alumni, students, faculty, and staff for an evening of learning and discussion.


This event seeks to raise awareness of the mass detention of Muslims in China's Northwest Xinjiang Province. Faculty, staff, student, and alumni panelists will address the situation from ethnographic, historical, personal, and religious perspectives, highlighting connections to global Islamophobia and parallels to mass incarceration in the United States.
