Alumni Lunch and Learn with Econ Grad Richard Shumann '88

Come and enjoy pizza and a virtual chat with Econ alumnus Richard Shumann '88. Ask him about how you can pursue a career in international development and microfinance, and more generally about how Mac students like you can use alumni and other networks to help in your own career exploration.

Richard began his post-Mac life with the Peace Corps in Guinea, did an MPA in Public Policy/Development at Princeton, went to work at The World Bank, Save the Children in Angola, and later with ACD/VOCA and Accion in Mozambique. He has worked with various lending and microfinance institutions in Africa and the Middle East and is now working in international financial inclusion just outside of Washington, D.C.
