Scholar and activist Professor Dana Frank will talk about her most recent project that involves bringing the stories of Honduran resistance to bear on U.S. policy in Latin America. The talk will be in Spanish.

Dana Frank is Professor of History Emerita at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her books include Bananeras: Women Transforming the Banana Unions of Latin America, which focuses on Honduras, and Buy American: The Untold Story of Economic Nationalism. Her writings on human rights and U.S. policy in post-coup Honduras have appeared in various publications like the New York Times and she has been interviewed by news outlets including the Washington Post and National Public Radio. Professor Frank has testified about Honduras before the US House of Representatives, the California Assembly, and the Canadian Parliament.
