Alumni Lunch and Learn with Iva Djurovic '13

Join us to explore the intersection of international development and finance through a virtual chat with Econ and International Studies alum Iva Djurovic '13.

Iva is a passionate entrepreneur with the spirit of a global citizen, currently residing between Belgrade, Serbia and Shenzhen, China. Prior to founding a blockchain-focused company in Serbia, she gained five years of experience in health financing around the world. During her 2-year tenure at the World Bank, she revamped the methodology for evaluating results-based financing interventions. Iva then transitioned to the boutique consulting firm ThinkWell based in Mozambique, where she designed data collection tools and monitoring dashboards for their Performance Based Financing intervention. She further on designed blended finance tools that triggered hundreds of millions of dollars in private investment to reduce maternal mortality in Indonesia.

Currently, she is the co-founder and executive director of a tech company Telipea Ltd. based in Serbia, where she continues to seek beautiful, simple and intelligent solutions to development challenges.
