Macalester Moment London Big Question: What are the trickle-down effects of economic nationalism?

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

If you are interested in attending, please contact Hannah Mitchell at 651-696-6894 or email [email protected]

Economic nationalism—from Brexit, to the NAFTA reboot, to the simmering U.S./China tradewar—is on the rise. While the broad implications of such sweeping decisions are often difficult for ordinary citizens to decipher, the everyday trickle-down impacts can be even harder to envision.

Join Provost and Professor of Economics Karine Moe, Assistant Professor of Economics Felix Friedt, Independent Strategic Advisor Altay Israfil ’98, and President Brian Rosenberg for a conversation that uncovers and explores what may be on the horizon for the U.K., U.S., and elsewhere.
