All students, faculty, and staff are invited to gather on the First Tuesday of the fall semester to celebrate the beginning of the academic year.

How Has Social Media Changed the World?

President Brian Rosenberg, Trustee Rebecca Van Dyck ’91, and Professor Shilad Sen will explore how social media is shaping our society and influencing life at Macalester.

We will also hear from President Rosenberg and MCSG President Blair Cha, as well as welcome the incoming Class of 2023.

A complimentary lunch will follow the event.
