WMCN Film Series: Cleo from 5 to 7
In honor of the late filmmaker Agnes Varda, WMCN will screen Varda's canonical Cleo from 5 to 7 this upcoming Saturday, April 6th. A dual portrait of a young pop star confronting mortality & the glowing Paris streets and architecture that surround her, Cleo is among Varda's great cinematic works. The score comes from Varda's collaborator Michel Legrand, who also passed away earlier this year.
Screening: April 6th at 7PM - 8:45PM apx.
