Income inequality is not a topic well addressed here at Macalester College. The Income Inequality Committee (IIC) is a developing committee part of Macalester's Student Government (MCSG) which will serve as the communication point between MCSG, the Student Services and Relations Committee (SSRC) and administration in addressing issues surrounding income disparity, wage gaps, lack of financial resources, and how Macalester can work with prospective low income students around the Twin Cities.

Join us Thursday night to begin a conversation about the effects of income/wage disparity, work with faculty and other students to brainstorm ways in which we can work towards effectively combating issues related to income inequality, and to find out how to be involved with the IIC this upcoming year.
