Mach-Alester 1: How we built a rocket at the speed of sound

Are you interested in learning about the process of designing and constructing a high power rocket for competition? Join Mac Rocketry for a seminar-style talk about Mach-alester 1, the rocket we will be entering in the Minnesota Space Grant Consortium's "Efficient Supersonic" competition.

The talk will be roughly 30 minutes in length, and consist of several team members talking about the work they have done on the rocket. Topics covered include research into the unique physics of supersonic flight, prototyping/testing methods, and our SOARS novel airbrake system. There will be time for questions following the talk.
