Back to Mac 2019

The Macalester Athletics department along with the M Club and the Alumni Board Athletics Working Group would like to invite you to come back to campus on Saturday, Sept. 14-15!

Back to Mac will feature alumni tennis matches, football, volleyball, and soccer games. The M Club will be grilling out for you, your family and friends before the football game, as well as many other activities. 

Join us for a full weekend of Scots athletics as we celebrate past and present Macalester student-athletes! 


2019 Back to Mac Schedule of Events

Saturday, Sept. 14


11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Elite Prospect Day - Macalester Athletics is hosting top student-athletes who are interested in joining the Class of 2024.2-3 p.m.

2-3 p.m.
Alumni Mixer (Hall of Fame Room) - Reconnect with fellow alumni before heading to the volleyball game. Light appetizers and beverages will be provided.RSVP here.


3-5 p.m.
Volleyball vs. Crown (Alumni Gymnasium) - Cheer on the Scots as they take on Crown in a non-conference match.


5-6 p.m.
Scots Chalk Talk (Hall of Fame Room) - Head coaches Tony Jennison (football),Sarah Graves (volleyball), Dan Schofer (track & field/cross country) and Katie Kollar(women's basketball) will talk about their teams and coaching strategies in an interactive format with fans. All are welcome!

6 p.m.
Football Tailgate with the M Club (Macalester Stadium) - Fill up on free hot dogs and burgers from the M Club before the football game and connect with your fellow alumni in the Social Garden, (2 Beverage tickets provided to those who RSVP)! RSVP here.

7 p.m. Football vs. Hamline
 (Macalester Stadium) - The Scots look to retain the Paint Bucket for the third year in a row with another victory over the Pipers.


Sunday, Sept. 15

10:30-11:45 a.m.
SAAC Career Brunch (Leonard Center Atrium) - The annual Career Brunch provides an opportunity for current student-athletes to network with Macalester graduates. Alumni interested in participating should contact Oriana Galasso '20. ([email protected]) for more information, or click here to register.

12 p.m.
Men's soccer vs. Carthage (Macalester Stadium) - Close out the weekend by cheering on the Scots against Carthage.
