Philadelphia, PA Big Questions: Does activism belong in athletics?

Please RSVP by Thursday, October 31

From Megan Rapinoe to Colin Kaepernick, athletes are taking activism to the pitch, the field, and beyond. College athletes are no exception. With social media’s reach an outspoken tweet might even engage the White House and the globe. How does activism impact teams, campuses, and communities? Should all athletes add media training to their regimens? Join us for a conversation about the risks and rewards of athletes speaking out.

Featuring Director of Athletics Donnie Brooks, in conversation with NFL Chief Disciplinary Officer B. Todd Jones ’79, former Minnesota U.S. Attorney and Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
