Family Fest: The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek
The Theater and Dance Department presents two student-led productions as part of this year's Family Fest.
Admission is free, no reservation required. All performances are 30 minutes, in the Huber-Seikaly Theater, lower level of the Theater and Dance Building. Doors open 15 minutes before each performance.
In this piece, selected scenes from The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek by Naomi Wallace, Dalton and Pace are two teenagers exploring their sexuality in a tragedy-struck, desolate rural town during the Great Depression. The play is a surreal exploration of the intersection of rural working-class identity and sexual discovery. The project is led by director Alexandra Whitman '20 and technical director Aidan Endo '22.
