Ubuntu Black Joy Showcase
The culmination of the Black History Month 2020 celebration at Macalester, UBUNTU Black Joy blends student-led and faculty/staff pieces exploring Black joy from our ancestors and in ourselves. The performance will highlight different parts of the African diaspora and each of our paths to embrace blackness and further Black joy.
The project is a collaboration between the Theater and Dance Department, Department of Multicultural Life, Music Department, Dewitt Wallace Library Archives, Black Liberation Affairs Committee, and the Black History Month Committee.
Admission is free, and seating very limited. Reservations highly recommended.
