Biology Seminar Series: "Discovering Novel Regulators of Cardiomyocyte Proliferation" with Daniel Sorensen (Mac ‘12)

After graduating from Macalester in 2012, Dan worked in the
lab of Karen Sears at the University of Illinois at Urbana-
Champaign studying morphological constraint in bats. He
finished a Master's degree there focused on Thalidomide
induced birth defects. Dan's currently a PhD Candidate at the
University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and will share his
current research on the regeneration of cardiac muscle
following heart attacks.
