Big Questions: Will the pandemic make K-12 education more equitable?

The last seven months have seen the biggest shift to the overarching structure of our educational system since it was established. In some ways education seems all new. Education is said to be the great equalizer, but variance in opportunities and resources often thwart even outcomes. When it comes to equity, will COVID-19 exacerbate persistent disparities, or might this be the first step toward true educational transformation?

Join Dr. Lesley Lavery, associate professor of political science, and Dr. Brian Lozenski, associate professor of urban and multicultural education, in conversation with President Suzanne Rivera.

Big Questions events will take place online.
Closed Captioning will be provided.
