Solidarity Tuesday

STs are non-formalized classrooms focused on raising critical consciousness of the Macalester community. This space allows for folks to engage in intentional dialogue on various topics impacting our local and global community, with the goal of defining praxis in order to work towards our collective liberation.

The purpose of this ST is to create a space for the Macalester community to learn more about the ongoing fight against the Enbridge Line 3 project and the threat its development poses to both the land and to the Anishinaabe peoples. We will also be engaging in a conversation around Macalester’s connections to this issue, our responsibility as members of the institution to this fight, and ways we can redistribute our resources (time, money, etc.) to work in solidarity with Indigenous leadership.
