Macalester access to the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) ended at midnight last night. This will impact you if you rely on ETAS for digital access to in-copyright books or other materials.

Today HathiTrust access returns to its pre-pandemic status for Macalester students, faculty, and staff. 
Users have:

* continued access to digitized materials in the public domain
* no access to in-copyright materials via HathiTrust
* the ability to browse and check out any circulating item from our collection (including items that were temporarily available through the HathiTrust ETAS)

We are grateful to have been able to provide online access to approximately half of our circulating collection during the pandemic through the ETAS program, and we look forward to expanding access to our print collection beginning July 15. Have questions or need help? Ask us!
