BIPOC Grief and Relief Wellness Group
Tuesdays starting on September 21, 2021 - November 9, 2021 from 11:30AM - 1:00PM for 8 meetings.
This is a space for Black, Indigenous, students of color struggling with grief after the death of a loved one, grief reactions and anger after an incident of community violence, or other types of losses as it pertains to being BIPOC in the United States. We will explore, process, and heal together in an atmosphere of understanding, community, and mutual support. This space will be facilitated by Hanin (she/her), a cis-female, Middle Eastern person.
This space is limited to 10 students in order to allow time to focus on each individual as well as hear a range of diverse perspectives. This group requires continuous attendance to obtain the full benefit as well as a pre-group meeting in order to make sure the group is a good fit for you.
