Event Details

MacSlams is hosting our first show of the semester on Friday, September 24th, from 7:30-9:30 p.m in Weyerhaeuser Chapel! We’ll start with an open mic, where anyone can perform a piece (maximum of five minutes, and it doesn’t have to be poetry). If you want to participate in the competitive slam, bring two poems (max three minutes each). In between the two rounds, we’ve invited the nationally acclaimed poet and author Bianca Phipps to feature. Doors open at 7 p.m!
